Amin Karim admits he let his property taxes lapse on purpose

The Northwest Herald reported on Oct. 9 that Amin Karim, the Democrat running for McHenry County Treasurer, has a history of paying his own property taxes late. According to the paper, three properties he owns in McHenry and Lake counties have gone to tax sale a combined five times, including a Mundelein property sold for back taxes three separate times since 2017.
